Our Story
Gigi, Sushi Thai Restaurant's owner, knows excellent international food. She has traveled the world for almost 20 years as an international flight attendant of a prominent Asian airline. From these travels, she tasted and learned exotic cuisine from several countries but enjoyed the spices of both Japanese and Thai dishes even more. Thus, her experiences led her to Sushi Thai.
Sushi Thai Restaurant, the first Thai and Japanese Restaurant in Middle Georgia established in 2001, offers a sumptuous fusion of flavors for those who enjoy the spice of savory Thai cuisine as well as traditionally and freshly prepared sushi and sashimi. It holds the title of the "Best of the Best" in sushi from the readers of Macon Telegraph year after year up to the present and was also nominated Best Restaurant in 2019 by WMAZ's Munch Madness.
